Rondec Step

Schlüter-RONDEC-STEP is a finishing and edging profile for ceramic tile and natural stone installations on stairs and countertops. The profile is radiused at the top to form a symmetrically rounded edge.  The vertical leg of the profile hides the exposed edge of the counter or stair tread. The profile is available in two different vertical leg lengths, 1-3/8" (35 mm) and 2-1/4" (57 mm), to cover the  thickness of the sub-assembly.  The aluminum profiles are available in different surface finishes to allow for decorative design and interesting accents.  In addition, the profiles effectively protect tiles in the edge area from mechanical and impact stresses.  Schlüter-RONDEC-STEP is suitable for residential applications; e.g., on stairs not exposed to heavy traffic, and other edging applications.
