Ready® Flash Waterproofing Kits

Ready® Flash Waterproofing Kits will address the seam that is created between your Tile Ready® Shower Pan and cement board.  Because there is no waterproofing at this seam, water will have an easy entrance and pathway to the backside of your shower.  This type of environment encourages mold and mildew, two things you do not want to deal with. 

Ready® Flash Kits are made out of a sturdy aluminum and can be easily mounted to your wall studs above the splash walls of your Tile Ready® Shower Pan.  In addition to waterproofing this seam, make sure you are waterproofing your shower walls as well.  Remember, cement board is only water-resistant, and not waterproof.  To create a completely waterproof shower system, you will want to use a waterproofing membrane for your shower walls.  To find out more about waterproofing your shower walls, CLICK HERE.
